I love planning vacations, but I have to say my favorite part of planning a Disney Vacation is picking out outfits for each day at the parks for our family. It’s so fun to come up with a theme, and then scout out Pinterest and Etsy and the stores with the best Disney gear (Gap, Target, Old Navy, and Kohls always have some cool Disney finds). I also love finding Disney outfits that can be worn back at home in everyday life too. So here is my round up of the best outfits you and your family can wear to Walt Disney World. If you have any favorite stores or Etsy shops for your Disney outfits, please leave them in the comments so we can all check them out too!
Since this is the original theme park Walt designed, I always think of Mickey Mouse and friends when I think of this park. And if you’ve been following me for a bit, you know I also am obsessed with rose gold. So I love the idea of doing a Mickey and Minnie theme, where the guys can where blues and the girls can wear mauves or blush pinks and rose gold ears. You can see the full look below. I love when the family looks coordinated, but isn’t super matchy-matchy every single day. And I love getting cute pieces that I can still wear in my every day wardrobe too!
For the ladies in your party, I found this adorable mauve polka dot swing dress for Presley, that would be so cute for any little girl to wear with these light-up Mickey shoes and a pair of pink mouse ears. It totally has sweet Minnie Mouse vibes! Depending on the time of year you go, there is a very affordable mauve t-shirt dress in long or short sleeves or tank style all with pockets for only $19 on Amazon. All you need is a pair of sneakers and rose gold Mickey Ears, and you’ve got such a cute outfit for the parks. There is also a really cute rose gold sequin Minnie Mouse backpack on sale for only $30 that would coordinate with these outfits perfectly! And if it’s cooler when you go, throwing a jean jacket or leather jack with either of these dresses would look so stylish to stay warm. I love that you can totally wear the dresses back home, but when you pair them with your mouse ears, you are ready for a day in Magic Kingdom!
This is the newest park at Walt Disney World, and you truly feel like you are taken into a Safari adventure when you enter the park. So, I always think of leopard and Lion King when outfit planning for this park.
I love this sweet leopard swing dress ($16) for girls to wear with cute sneakers to the park. This simple white tee shirt with a leopard Mickey on Etsy is so cute and could be paired with jean shorts or leggings and sneakers, depending on what time of year you go to the parks. And there are leopard bow mickey ears that you can get in rose gold, black, or gold. So cute!! And it would look adorable to have either a leopard fanny pack or book bag (only $20 at Forever 21) to complete the look!
I found this adorable Simba hoodie with little lion cub ears on the hood for Landon at Target. There’s also a very cute “Hakuna Matata” shirt for boys at Target that would be perfect to layer underneath the hoodie. Since we’ll be going in the winter, I always like to layer so the kids keep warm in the mornings and evenings when it’s cooler! For my husband, I love this heather green “Lion King” logo t-shirt for $15 on Etsy.
Again, we all are wearing some wild themed outfits to coordinate, but not super matchy!
With the new Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opening in August 2019, I had to find the best Star Wars themed outfits for our day at Hollywood Studios park in Walt Disney World.
For Adam, because he is such an amazing daddy to our kiddos, I thought this “Best Dad in the Galaxy” shirt for $16 from Etsy was pretty perfect. I loved this “This is How I Roll” R2D2 t-shirt for Landon, and there is this awesome Etsy shop the upcycles adult tees into outfits for kids, and I love this studded Star Wars t-shirt dress for P! It’s too cute! For me, I love this rose gold glitter “Best Day Ever” Star Wars themed tank on Etsy, and these adorable Star Wars ears. And I had to share this awesome Star Wars purse that would coordinate so well!
Epcot has a ton of different themed countries with amazing restaurants, and some really cool educational rides, so for this day, I just planned a more traditional Minnie and Minnie color scheme, and I could not pass up these adorable Epcot ears! So I figured a plain black t-shirt dress would be comfy and be able to be worn back home too! For Landon and Presley, I loved the style of the baseball brother mouse shirt, and I thought this “Mini Mouse” shirt for P was great. Since Adam always enjoys getting a Mickey pretzel and a beer at Epcot, I thought he’d like this black t-shirt that says “Wearing Ears and Drinking beers.” And I can use my Minnie Mouse backpack on this day too!
I hope you enjoyed these Disney outfit ideas! I think it is so much fun to coordinate what your family is going to wear at each of the parks, so I hope this gives you some affordable and cute ideas on what to wear at Disney World, whether you’re going to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Epcot. Let me know if you have any favorite Etsy shops or places you get your Disney gear in the comments!
