It's time! I loved having all of the bright and cheery green decor in my kitchen for St. Patrick's Day, but Easter is just the sweetest holiday for decor. Everything in my home is colorful, feminine, and of course, covered in little bunnies. It's hard not to be happy when you're looking at a bunny! I hope these Easter DIYs help you welcome Peter Cottontail into your home this Spring.
And if you haven't noticed, there's been someone new hanging around in the background of a few of my DIY videos. But he does more than just crafts! I made introductions over on Instagram a while ago, but my boyfriend is also renovating my bathroom. We love a guy who's good with tools! He helps me with the big projects and the little ones, and he makes me laugh every step of the way. So thank you for all your kind messages over on Instagram!
Got some help for this DIY because you need to use a drill, but this Easter craft was really easy and turned out SO cute!!
Drill a hole in the center of two 4 inch wide wooden plaques. You can paint or stain these if youβd like, but I wanted to keep them natural looking! I got mine on Amazon, but you can also find them in craft stores!
Drill a hole through foam Easter eggs with a 1/4 inch drill bit and slide 2-3 eggs into a 1/4 wooden dowel. You can snap these easily with a pair of side cuts or wire cutters so theyβre the right length to fit into the hotels in the wood plaques.
use hot glue to fill in the holes and keep the dowels in place.
let dry, and top with a pillar candle.
so adorable for decorating an Easter tablescape or Easter mantle!
Just tie one small and one large green wreath together
hot glue bunny ears to the top of the small wreath for the ears
tie a bow at the top of the large wreath so it looks like a bow is around the bunny neck
cut a head of faux white hydrangea, and hot glue to the bottom of the large wreath for the bunny tail
So easy and so cute for Easter!!
Iβll probably move this outside once it warms up to decorate for my spring front porch!
