Happy Holidays, loves! The whole house is officially decorated for Christmas! And not only does everything feel so fresh and new in this house, but there is one room in particular that is brand new to us – HayHay’s room! This is the first year that I’ve gone all out and given his nursery a little Christmas spirit of its own. My little man is about to turn two (time, you’re a thief!) and the theme in his room is an ode to the ultimate adventure that was his first year of life – Mele Kalikimaka!
It wouldn’t be a Hawaii Christmas without a light up palm tree, right? What do you guys think? I have a feeling that come next year, all the kids’ rooms will be getting some extra love. Landon is ready for a little grow up glow up. He wants a video game themed room, which sounds like just the kind of challenge I’ve been looking for.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions since Landon was an itty bitty baby is refreshing their rooms with holiday themed Pottery Barn Kids bedding. They make the most adorable crib sheets all the way up to big kid beds, and they’re incredibly soft. I chose to have ours embroidered (I’m a little bit extra!) because it makes it seem like such a sweet keepsake. There’s something about customizing and monogramming that makes everything seem like it was specially made for them.
Right now, Pottery Barn Kids is having a huge sale – 20-60% off all their holiday bedding. My favorite has got to be the Grinch theme this year. I hope I get the opportunity to use it one day if they’re still making this print. Get it while you still can! Their year round prints are also part of the sale, so this is a great time to stock up on quality linens for around your home.
