Hey loves! Here is our OFFICIAL gender neutral nursery reveal and tour! I am SO excited to share little babe’s nursery with you! I stuck with a neutral color palette as we do not know baby’s sex. I wanted a boho style, and this gender neutral nursery is my favorite nursery I’ve ever decorated! We also ripped out the carpet, and did the floors ourselves, painted, and just had so much fun with this DIY project! I hope it gives you tons of ideas if you’re decorating your own gender neutral nursery.
You can shop all of the items I used to decorate and organize here and throughout this post if there is any nursery decor or furniture you like!
I always sing “Your Song” to the baby by Elton John, so I couldn’t believe when I saw this sign at Hobby Lobby. And I loved this “Sweet Dreams” sign I saw on Etsy- I thought it was perfect to hang above the crib.
I wanted the changing station to be very functional, and when I saw this woven changing pad, I had to have it! I reused a white dresser we had in here from when this room was a guest room, but I got a three-basket stand for next to it for toys or items that you need to grab quickly while changing baby.
And I am obsessed with the hanging greenery- it’s one of my favorite pieces of decor in the nursery! I just love the pop of color it brings to the corner.
These shelves are another favorite of mine- as soon as my husband hung them, I was obsessed. I love how they look and help fill out this corner of the room above the rocker- which was a hand-me-down from big sister Presley’s room. But it fits perfectly since it’s a nice neutral cream color. I just used a chunky knit throw and a pillow with some fun gold metallic leopard bring on it to jazz it up a bit.
The gold crib was also a very unexpected addition to this room. I was going back and forth between a couple of white cribs, and I happened to find this one that comes in white as well, but when I saw the gold color, I was in love. I could not stop thinking about it the entire next day, so I knew it was the one. I love how the gold looks in here- it’s the perfect accent piece to all the of the whites, and creams, and grays in this gender neutral space.
I also reused this boho style pouf from when it was in our guest room. I found this accordion shelf and thought it was so sweet for in the corner by the changing table, and decorated it with a wreath and a onesie and this sweet little rainbow.
In the closet, I kept the organization simple with an assortment of neutral baskets and bins. And I love these white velvet rose gold hangers- they’re in every closet in our home. These are just the baby size ones! And you can see my hospital bag and the diaper bag I have all packed and ready to go- video and post coming soon where I share everything I packed.
And if you’d like to see how we did the entire DIY of this nursery, we ripped up the carpet and laid the new floor, painted, and more! You can see the full makeover here!
