Hey loves! Welcome to my 16 week pregnancy update. This week according to the bump app, baby is the size of an avocado and over 4 inches long. This is the week that’s common to start feeling flutters of kicks and it’s so exciting! I have felt a few little tiny “pings” and it’s so incredible to feel it!
I weighed myself this morning and I have gained 11 pounds so far. I’m going to try and make some lifestyle changes over the next few months for my mental health and the baby. I actually lost about 5 pounds as there has been some stressful stuff going on so I’m going to make sure that I’m being healthy for myself and little babe.
Maternity clothes, I actually ordered a few new items that I’m excited about! No stretch marks yet, I have been putting on my cocoa butter on every night and it’s been so helpful to keep my skin from being tight and itchy.
As far as sleeping, I’m getting up 2 if not 3 times a night to pee and then I have a really hard time to fall back asleep. I’ve been trying to wake up around 5 or 6 and sometimes my body just won’t go back to sleep. I’ve still been having some vivid dreams too.
Best moments this week. This is so simple but on Sunday, Adam and I decided to do a little BBQ just us and the kids and then we watched our home videos from our Europe trip we went on last year and it was just so fun to relive all of those memories.
Cravings! Still bacon cheeseburgers and pizza, I had both of those this week! A new thing is I have been loving the spicy chicken sandwiches from chic-fil-a with bacon and pepperjack cheese and it’s SO good!
