Christmas 2022 Gift Guides for Kids

It’s happening! I have officially undecorated our house and packed all the Halloween decor up until fall of 2023. That happened fast, right? I’m very much enjoying the clean slate right now, especially since all the construction is almost done on our house! If you’re just catching up, I had new floors put in throughout, replacing the tile in the foyer and kitchen and the carpets upstairs.

Getting to see how it all looks without any seasonal decor makes it so much easier to dream about every season and get really intentional about what I want in this space. It also got me fired up to do a ruthless clean out of our basement, not only to make room for new Christmas toys, but to get the basement ready for holiday guests! In case you didn’t know, HayHay’s room used to be the guest bedroom. Now, I’m thinking the basement could use a little sprucing up to be a little more accommodating to family when they come to stay with us. If that’s something you’d like to see in a video, let me know!

What I’m Getting My Kids for Christmas in 2022

If this is your first time visiting my blog, hi! I’m Brianna K, also known as @bitsofbri. I’m a mom of three, and I make YouTube videos featuring all things homemaking – seasonal decor, recipes, cleaning motivation, mom hacks, and every bit of life in between. I was blessed with two boys, my oldest and my youngest. So you’re getting a full spectrum of what to get cutie little toddlers all the way up to the bigger kids!

Compared to my middle child and only daughter, Landon is definitely my more “sit still and focus” kind of kid. I always look for Christmas presents that are going to be a challenging project for him. We’re talking Legos, STEM toys, card games. And then of course, whatever trendy less-than-educational toy he asks Santa for is fine by me, too!

Hayden is turning two in November, and I think that’s such an easy age to shop for. It’s definitely the least expensive, because in this phase of life, he’s so enthralled with little things that I can find at Dollar Tree or Walmart – little figurines, coloring books, Play-doh. But I do try to look for one large toy that will grow with him. If you want to do the same, I really can’t recommend these soft blocks enough. Don’t let the picture fool you, these are BIG! They’re great for improving gross motor skills like balance, they’re open ended so your kids can come up with a thousand different ways to play, and they come in a ton of colorways to match your kiddo’s bedroom or playroom.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Little Girls

Presley is my wild child! She needs gifts that get her going. Plus, she’s my girly girl, so sparkly unicorn makeup (that’s also made with only the cleanest ingredients) is also going to be a must for Christmas 2022. I know you guys have itty bitty babies all the way up to big girls, so I tried to pack as much variety into this Amazon gift guide as possible. There are plenty of things to grow into, but the roller skates have to be my favorite. They remind me of field trips to the roller rink when I was a little girl!
