CLEAN AND UN DECORATE WITH ME!

Hey loves! I’m cleaning, undecorating and getting ready for fall decor! I am in full on prep mode over here! I’m doing some laundry, packing and prep for dinner so I have a lot to do on my to-do list. I hope this all gives you a lot of motivation!

Truly clean with me today and have that instant mood boost! Throw in that load of laundry and let’s do this! Once that first load is done, I put it all away and hung up the clothes in the closet. Then I made our bed and put on fresh new sheets.

Our summer decor has been up since before Memorial Decor Weekend, and since we have been in our house way more than normal this summer, I am so ready for a change and fresh start. Mark your calendars for Monday August 17 for the fall clean and decorate with! I cannot wait to share it with you!

I took all of the summer decor down in the living room and did a full clean. I wiped down all of the shelves, coffee table and windows! Make sure you check out my previous blog post or video to get the recipes I use to make homemade and nontoxic cleaners that I use around my house!

One of the questions I get asked the most whenever I film a video with my decor, is how I store all of it! We live in Ohio where it is pretty typical to have a basement so we do have some storage space down there! I use the big plastic containers and I try to color code them. So for each holiday I can grab all of the “blue storage bins” or whatever color they are depending on the holiday and it makes it just a little bit easier!

I also created free labels that you can print out and use to organize your bins! I have them for every type of label for every type of seasonal decor, they’re listed! I also made a decor inventory list so you can go through at the end of the season and write out all of the decorations that you have!

I put away the rest of the summer decor from the kitchen area and labeled each box accordingly! Once I got those organized, I put away some dishes and cleaned up the kitchen so that I could start prepping dinner later on! Once all of the other laundry was done, I did a quick vacuum of the living room.

Once all of the summer decor was down, I took out all of my fall decor and I am SO excited about all of it! You can watch the full video here to see everything that I got!

After everything was put away and the house was cleaned up, I got started on dinner!
