HALLOWEEN TREAT RECIPES

Hey loves! Since we will be celebrating Halloween at home this year, I wanted to make it as fun as possible for the kiddos! I know a lot of you might be in the same boat as well, so I’m sharing some easy at home DIY party food!

Spider Rolls

For a fun Halloween breakfast, we’re making some spider rolls with store bought cinnamon rolls!

  • Place the rolls onto the baking sheet
  • Bake according to package
  • Add black food dye to frosting
  • Once the rolls are cooled, add mini pretzel sticks as legs
  • Frost cinnamon rolls
  • Add black sprinkles and candy eyes

Apple Peanut Butter Monsters

Ingredients:

  • 2 green apples
  • Strawberries
  • Peanut butter
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Googly eyes

Directions:

  • Quarter the apples and cut a slice out to be the mouth
  • Slice strawberries in half for tongue
  • Spread peanut butter inside mouth
  • Place strawberry slice
  • Add chopped peanuts for teeth
  • Stick googly eye on with peanut butter

Spooky Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • Melt white chocolate over boiling water
  • Wash and dry strawberries
  • Let sit out to be room temperature
  • Dip strawberries in melted chocolate
  • Cover some in halloween sprinkles
  • Allow to cool
  • Add chocolate icing for ghost faces


Spider Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • mix wet ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Mix sugar into wet ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Mix in dry ingredients

Directions:

  • One spoonful rolled into balls, about an inch in diameter
  • Roll ball in sugar
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes
  • Remove from oven and add 3 malted milk balls in a row onto each cookie
  • Bake for 5 more minutes
  • Add chocolate icing for spider legs

Monster Punch

  • Green nerd candies
  • Ice
  • Gummy eyeballs for a creepy garnish
  • Pour sprite over the top
  • Paper straw through monster peep

Jack-o-lantern burgers

  • Cut jack-o-lantern face into cheese slices
  • Add ranch seasoning to burger meat
  • Form into burger patties
  • Cook burgers and melt cheese

Spider Ice Cubes

You can add little plastic spider from the dollar section to your ice cube tray and it’s a fun way to spook up your drinks!
