Hey Loves! Today I wanted to share my current morning routine with you as a busy mom of two. Mornings are hard for me, especially as a mom. I am a night owl by nature, so this has taken me a lot of time to figure out what type of routine and schedule in the mornings will work best for me. My ultimate goal was to be a happy and patient mom when my kids woke up in the morning. If I woke up when they woke up, I wake up at 5 AM and have some time to myself before the kids wake up. I also wanted my routine to help me feel confident and ready to take on the work I have to do every day.

5:00 AM- Wake up, wash face, brush teeth.
5:15 AM- Make coffee.
5:30 AM- Workout, read bible verse and daily devotional, read motivational quotes, answer some emails and messages on the bike.
6:30 AM- Shower and get dressed for the day.
7:00 AM- Wake up kids, get them dressed for the day.
7:30 AM- Breakfast
8:00 AM- School run or start play time for the kids while I tackle my to-do list.
I realized it helps me so much to have some quiet alone time to start my day. I feel even more convicted when I read the Bible, and when I look at motivational quotes, I get really excited to tackle my to-do list. I also feel really confident when I’m dressed and ready for the day, even if I am staying at home all day, it helps me a lot to feel like myself. And I feel like working out and burning off steam allows me to be more patient and peaceful with the kids in the chaos of the mornings and trying to get out the door on time.
